Tetraethyl Orthotitanate, TET

Tetraethyl orthotitanate (CAS No. 3087-36-3) is an important organotitanium reagent, primarily used as a precursor for the preparation of nano-titanium dioxide, titanium-based functional films, and ceramic materials; it is also used as a catalyst in transesterification and condensation reactions in organic synthesis; it can also be used as a crosslinking agent in coatings to improve adhesion, and can be used in the synthesis of titanate coupling agents.
